By accessing and using the Craft-a-Story mobile application (hereinafter referred to as "the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and all applicable laws and regulations. These terms govern your use of the App and all content, services, and features available through the App. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please discontinue using the App immediately.

2. Intended Use

Craft-a-Story is designed for parents, guardians, and educators to create engaging, imaginative, and child-friendly stories using our AI-powered tools and features. The App allows you to generate personalized content, customize characters, and transform text into captivating audio and video formats. When using the app, you agree to ensure that all generated content is appropriate for the intended audience (children) and adheres to our guidelines.

3. Restrictions on Use

When using Craft-a-Story, you agree to the following restrictions:

• Do not create or share stories that are inappropriate, offensive, explicit, or contain harmful or malicious content. You are responsible for ensuring that your content aligns with our community standards and is suitable for all audiences.

• Do not generate content that is unsuitable for children, promotes discrimination, or violates any applicable laws or regulations. We take a strong stance against any form of discriminatory or illegal content on our platform.

• Misuse of our AI tools, including but not limited to attempts to generate harmful or inappropriate content, will result in immediate account suspension or termination. We will not tolerate any behavior that puts our younger users at risk.

4. Account Responsibilities

To create an account, users must be at least 18 years old, or have consent from a parent/guardian. It is your responsibility to ensure the safety and well-being of children by supervising their app usage. If you are a parent or guardian, you agree to monitor and guide children's activity within the app to ensure their experience remains safe and enjoyable.

5. AI Limitations

We make every effort to provide a safe and suitable environment. However, while we strive to ensure that AI-generated content meets your expectations for appropriateness, we cannot guarantee that all generated stories will be perfect. You acknowledge that you bear the ultimate responsibility to review the generated stories and any of its components before sharing them to ensure that they align with your personal values and are appropriate for your children.

6. Paid Features and Subscriptions

Craft-a-Story offers paid features and subscriptions through the Google Play Billing system. All purchases are governed by Google Play Billing policies. When you engage with our payment options, you acknowledge that you have reviewed and agreed to the terms set forth by Google Play Billing. We do not have access to your payment credentials.

7. Ownership of Content

Stories created using Craft-a-Story are intended for personal and non-commercial use only. You retain ownership of the content you create, but you are not allowed to use it for any commercial purposes, including distribution, resale, or any other form of commercial exploitation, without prior consent. Any such use is a violation of these terms.

8. Liability and Disclaimers

You agree to the following liability disclaimers:

• We are not responsible or liable for inappropriate, harmful, or offensive content generated by users. You acknowledge that it is your responsibility to create, review, and share content responsibly.

• We provide our AI tools on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without any warranty. We do not guarantee that the AI will generate content that is error-free or meets your specific expectations, and you accept all risks associated with using it.

9. User-Generated Content

User-generated content that violates these Terms of Use is subject to removal without any prior notification. We reserve the right to terminate user accounts for repeat or severe violations of our terms and community standards. User-generated content includes any stories created or shared using the app.

10. Compliance with COPPA

We are committed to complying with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Parents are responsible for supervising their children's usage of the Craft-a-Story app and making sure the content created and shared is safe and appropriate for children. By using the app, you acknowledge your responsibility in ensuring your compliance.

11. Modifications to the Terms

We retain the right to revise these Terms of Use at any given time. We will notify you of any significant changes to these terms by posting an updated version of the agreement to the app. Continued use of the app after revisions constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
